Plain statements of practice on the imagery, findings and records Aerolant holds for clients.

What this covers
This page describes how Aerolant handles client imagery, findings, records and account data in the console and in delivery. It is a statement of practice, not a certification.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access
Access to a client's data is limited to the personnel who work on that client's account. Every access to the console is authenticated, and the reviewing analyst's name and sign-off timestamp travel with each record.
Client data and models
Client imagery, findings and records are used only to deliver the service to that client. Aerolant does not use client data to train or improve models without that client's written permission.
Imagery licensing
Imagery is acquired under license from the sources that supply it, and every record carries its source and sensor type, so the chain from acquisition to finding can be audited. Raw imagery is not redistributed beyond the terms of its license.
Export control
Imagery and derived products are handled under United States export-control rules. Aerolant does not deliver controlled imagery or products to restricted parties or destinations.
Hosting and retention
The console runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States; this website is hosted separately and holds no client data. Retention terms are set in each client agreement.
Practices and documentation
Application and infrastructure practices follow industry standards; certifications are added to this page when earned. Documentation is available to clients and prospective clients on request.
